My only experience with shooting in Pomona (last week) ended with a concussion and a torn bra... if I can get away from this without heat stroke and an asthma attack, I'll call it a success.

Thrice is playing at all four Warped Tour dates I've been asked to shoot, and I will DEFINITELY be making a point of photographing them. Like that band! The Lives of Famous Men are unfortunately not making it out to the West Coast shows. :(

Unfortunate they're very good live but that could be because I just love the use of castanets in anyway shape or form XD
Regardless though I can't wait for the Thrice stuff they are love.

I don't know if my earplugs are protection from potential permananet lowering of my IQ... I hope to avoid that stage entirely for the Myspace "bands" appearances... in California we get 6 stages instead of 4 :)

I'd just say ask them if you can sign up for one of their neighborhood's walking tours through them.
I'm jealous though of the stages.
We have more then four but with the exception of Thieves and Villains in 07 and The Scenic last year none of them have really given anything worth watching IMO.
On a side note I'm browsing through the lineups for your dates and besides Thrice, if my suggestions hold any weight XD, I'd suggest Dear and The Headlights.
I wouldn't expect it to be crowded but they toured with Circa Survive and Fear Before back in fall of 07 and they are a good watch.
A bit mellower but regardless still fun to watch.
