I would have caught it sooner but I was at Comic Con... she just reposted a slew of AFI photos including ones marked by image bureaus and having copyright marks on them from other photographers, and I was telling Mark when I found one of mine.

Seriously, Mark and I (and others I'm sure) have explained both the law and Buzznet's TOS to her AT LENGTH. She doesn't care. She thinks if it's on the Internet, she can steal it and do whatever she wants with it, and it's your fault for putting it on the Internet. Fan photos, image bureau photos stolen off their official websites (where they do, you know, BUSINESS on the Internet), photos from pro photographers... even people's fan art.

I don't CARE if people SAVE the photos to look at them on their own computer.... they need to understand the problem is REPOSTING THEM on the Internet.... and that includes STORING THEM ON PHOTOBUCKET (which is publicly viewable, therefore constitutes PUBLISHING THEM)

If you like to collect photos, buy a bigger hard drive or burn some DVD's for pity's sake, people. Don't repost them.

This is not fair...I mean why a person has to SHARE an image with the world when SOMEONE ELSE DID IT ALREADY and that "someone else" is THE OWNER of that picture...is that so hard to understand?.GO MISERY!!! :)
